Soft lights, cobwebs, evil spirits and disturbing noises, then suddenly ... a ghost!
Don’t worry, we were just preparing the atmosphere for the scariest night of the year that, despite everything, continues to amuse both adults and children. So, besides cutting sheets for your ghost cloaks or carving pumpkins with scary shapes, we should perhaps start to get some ideas to amaze (or disturb) the family at the table!
Ideas for a creepy menu
If by chance you are helping the kids to carve the pumpkin with scary shapes, start putting aside all the stuffing to give a touch of orange to your dinner, from appetizers to desserts. Let's find out together how:
- Appetizer - start by cutting toast bread in the shape of a tombstone, or to create mummies of pastry with olives and tofu cut in the shape of a finger, made disturbing by a little tomato sauce
- First courses – we can’t avoid a good risotto or a delicious soup pumpkin-based, to be enriched with some seeds of poppy or chia, dark in color, to give the appearance of some cockroach inside our plate
- Main courses – bake the pumpkin and, while you cook for about 20 minutes, prepare some tasty balls with pumpkin and vegetable to taste, or a delicious savory pie made with cream cheese and pumpkin
- Dessert – if you still have patience and desire to experiment, then go with pumpkin brownies (perhaps also in the form of a tombstone or coffin), or fluffy and tasty muffins always with pumpkin
Therefore, on October the 31st, do not take any commitments... it seems that you have a lot to do at home, also because just reading this menu you can already lick your lips!
